meager resources
That sustain your life,
Think of the little child
Who fell asleep in hunger;
Of the jobless friend,
Seeing his children breadless;
Of the woman who begs for help
To take care of her little son who is ill.
Think of those who suffer
Much more than ourselves.
And, deep in your thoughts,
You will praise Heaven
and raise to God your gratitude.
